THE OPERATORS MANUAL

Fifteen pages. One fix each.

Not theory and not a reading list. One problem per page, five or six steps, done in an afternoon by you, without hiring anybody.

WHAT IS THIS

An operations manual for a business with no team in it.

Most advice aimed at women running businesses assumes somebody to delegate to. This assumes there isn't one yet.

Every page is one problem and the five or six steps that fix it. Nothing here needs software you do not have, a hire you cannot afford, or a weekend you do not have spare. Each page is an afternoon.

Pages are numbered in the order they were published and the numbers are permanent. Nothing gets renumbered and nothing gets quietly edited after the fact. If something in here turns out to be wrong, it gets a new page.

WHATS INSIDE

Fifteen pages, in the order they were published.

HOW TO USE IT

01

Start with Page 001

Write your break list. Twenty minutes, a pen, no laptop open. Everything that stops if you take a vacation.

02

Count it

Don't round it, and don't make it prettier. The number at the bottom is the only diagnostic in here.

03

Open the page that matches

Whatever came out worst tells you which of the other fourteen to do first.

FIFTEEN PAGES. ONE FIX EACH.

Every page published so far, bound into one document. One problem per page, five or six steps, done in an afternoon. It grows every week.

If you only do one thing: write the list, count it, and say the number out loud on the first Monday of the month.

That's the whole method. Everything else in here is a way of making the number smaller.
